The difference

A chat widget answers.
A person closes.

Dashe works out who's on your site and what they're after, then puts one of your own people on camera in the corner of the page they're already reading. No meeting link, no calendar invite, nothing to download.

01The enemy

Every automated route to a person is a tunnel.

It’s the same tunnel on the phone as it is in a chat window, and almost nobody reaches the end of it. Fully automated buying has always been the worst part of buying: the phone tree that mishears you four times, the chatbot that offers to fetch a specialist and never does, the form that vanishes for four working days.

The buying journey changed. People research alone, decide fast, and then want one honest conversation with someone who actually knows the answer. Dashe doesn’t replace that person. It gets them there in time.

The phone tree

“I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that. Let’s try again.”

The chatbot

“I’ve connected you to a specialist.” Nobody arrives.

The contact form

Sent. Then nothing, for four working days.

Dashe

Someone you can see, answering the thing you asked.

02Five rooms

Same visitor. Same question. Five trades.

In each one the visitor asks the same kind of thing. The difference is entirely in what happens next.

ShowroomsOakfield Living A green velvet sofa on a showroom floor

“Is the Harlow in green still on the floor?”

Today

Hi! I can help with that. What’s your order number?

The wrong question, asked of someone who hasn’t ordered anything.

With Dashe

Marco, standing on that floor, says it’s the last one, by the window — and offers to walk them round it on camera.

GalleriesSable Gallery A white-walled gallery with works hung on both sides

“Is the Okoye piece still available?”

Today

Chat with us

A button nobody clicks, because everybody knows what’s behind it.

With Dashe

Inès confirms it is, and mentions two more from the series that never went online. The sort of thing only a person in the room knows.

Real estateRiverside Realty A bright flat with floor-to-ceiling windows

“Is the flat on Bridge Street still available?”

Today

Request a callback

A promise to be slower than the buyer.

With Dashe

Dan, out on viewings, answers from his phone: it is, viewings are Saturday morning, shall I put you down for 11?

Mortgage brokersKestrel Finance House keys beside a model house

“What rate could I get at 90% LTV?”

Today

I am not able to discuss rates. Please email support@.

A careful answer that loses the customer.

With Dashe

Priya says it depends on the term and their credit, and offers to show them three in thirty seconds. A person, saying a thing a person is allowed to say.

B2B salesHalden A laptop showing an analytics dashboard

“Does this work with how we’ve set up Salesforce?”

Today

I’ve connected you to a specialist who will be with you shortly.

They will not.

With Dashe

Sam shares his screen and walks through the field mapping, on the pricing page, before the evaluation moves to someone else.

What they have in common

In every one of these, somebody at the company already knows the answer and would happily give it. The only thing missing is a way to reach them in the ten seconds the question is live. That gap is the entire product.

03Side by side

Against the alternatives.

What each option actually does when someone asks a specific question about a specific page at nine in the evening.

04The assistant

It has one job.

It asks who the visitor is, what they’re after and how soon. It answers the easy things. Then it gets out of the way. It’s told never to pretend to be one of your people, and never to invent a price or a promise — if it doesn’t know, it says one of your team can answer that.

It asks for a name first, so whoever joins already knows who they’re talking to. By the time your rep opens the panel they can see the name, the email, the page being read and everything already said.

Personality sells. A chat widget on its own never has.

05Questions

The things people actually ask.

How is Dashe different from an AI chatbot?

On most sites the chatbot is the whole product, so every conversation ends with the bot. In Dashe the assistant is the first forty seconds only: it asks who the visitor is and what they’re after, then hands over to one of your people, who joins the same panel on camera, on voice, or sharing their screen.

It never claims to be one of your team, and never promises a specialist it can’t produce.

How is Dashe different from live chat like Intercom or Drift?

Live chat hands a typed conversation to a person who also types. Dashe hands it to someone who shows up with a face and a voice — or on voice alone if they’d rather not be on camera — inside the panel the visitor is already reading. No meeting link, no calendar invite, nothing to download.

Why not just use a contact form?

A form moves the conversation to email, and to a time when the buyer has already moved on. The moment someone is on your pricing page or a particular listing is the moment they have the question. Dashe answers it while they’re still on that page.

Does the visitor have to install anything or book a call?

No. It all happens in a panel on your own website. Nothing to download, no meeting link, no calendar. They can join with just their microphone and keep their camera off.

What happens if nobody on the team is available?

The assistant keeps answering what it can and takes a name and an email so the conversation isn’t lost. If someone has linked their phone, a WhatsApp message reaches them wherever they are, and their reply lands back in the visitor’s browser.

Who is Dashe for?

Businesses where one honest conversation decides the sale, and the person who can have it is rarely at a desk: showrooms, galleries, estate agents, mortgage and finance brokers, and B2B teams whose pricing page is where deals stall. It suits one person on their own as readily as a floor of five.
